We have released a report of the review conducted in May of this year by the Nuclear Reform Monitoring Committee including Dr. Charles Casto, current Nuclear Reform Monitoring Committee member, and other international nuclear advisors.
They reviewed the status of safety improvement initiatives implemented to date as part of nuclear safety reforms through field inspections and interviews with plant personnel.
The report states that, “The review team arrived at the conclusion that TEPCO is making sound and adequate preparations for the restart of KK Unit 7.”
