Message from Mr. Shoichiro Onishi, Committee Member 2020

It is with great pleasure that I announce my appointment to TEPCO’s Nuclear Reform Monitoring Committee.

In 2011, I took office as Deputy Director-General of the TEPCO Management and Finance Investigation Committee (TEPCO Management and Finance Investigation Taskforce) and have since performed managerial finance audits in order to provide a rigid evaluation of TEPCO’s assets and enable thorough budget reviews.

In June 2020, I was made an outside director of TEPCO and have served as a member of the nominations committee and the auditing committee.

With this experience I aim to monitor nuclear reforms at TEPCO in the capacity of both an outside director and a member of the Nuclear Reform Monitoring Committee.
